The HALANSM® 220635 Nozzle Retaining Cap is the critical inner locking component for Hypertherm HPR 130XD, HPR260XD, and HPR400XD plasma torches operating at 400A. As the backbone of the consumable stack, it performs three vital functions simultaneously: mechanically locking the electrode (220629), swirl ring (220631), and nozzle (220632) into perfect axial alignment; positioning the shield (220636) at the correct standoff geometry; and providing the sealing surface for the shield cap (220637) to ensure leak-proof coolant flow.
