The HALANSM® 220742 Bevel Shield is a critical component specifically designed for operators performing bevel cuts using Hypertherm HPR 260XD, HPR400XD, or HPR130XD plasma systems at 80 Amps. Unlike standard straight-cut shields, this precision-engineered part features a unique geometry that allows the plasma arc to deflect at an angle, enabling bevel cuts for edge preparation or welding.

Bevel cutting generates complex thermal stresses and alters gas flow dynamics. The HALANSM 220742 shield is crafted to withstand these specific conditions. Its precisely angled face and advanced internal gas flow paths ensure that the plasma arc remains stable and focused during the angled piercing and cutting process, resulting in clean, accurate bevel profiles.
