The HALANSM® 220528 is the entry-amperage electrode for Hypertherm's HSD130, HyPro2000, and MAXPRO200 plasma systems. As the component where the plasma arc is born, the electrode governs two factors that decide your cut quality and your cost-per-part at the lightest cutting class: arc-start reliability and how tightly the arc is constrained before it reaches the nozzle. A worn or off-center electrode causes wandering arcs, excessive dross, and accelerated nozzle erosion.
