The HALANSM 220890​ is the 50A fine-cut nozzle for Hypertherm HyPro2000 torches on MAX200 hosts (also cross-lists to MAXPRO200 50A). Bore and gas-path tuned for conical-flow air cutting on thin sheet — narrower kerf, less dross, cleaner edge than standard MAX200 40A stack. Pairs with 220528 elec + 220529 swirl + 220532 shield in the HyPro 50A stack. 220890 ≠ MAX200 standard nozzles (020689/020611/020608) — host/torch must read "HyPro2000" or "MAXPRO200" to fit; standard MAX200 barrel uses different swirl seat and cap interface.

220890 is Hypertherm's 50A fine-cut nozzle for the HyPro2000 torch — appears on two hosts: HyPro2000 retrofitted onto legacy MAX200 and MAXPRO200 50A (native). Bore is conical-flow tuned: narrower than standard MAX200 40A (020689), tighter kerf, less dross on thin MS/SS sheet. Runs air as primary 50A gas; for N₂/H35/Arg-H₂ you'd be on higher amps, not 50A.

Key Points (buyer-facing)

  • Fine-cut bore, not standard MAX200: 220890 kerf and gas-path are finer than MAX200 40A standard nozzle 020689. If host is plain "MAX200" (no HyPro2000 upgrade), 50A-class cutting actually runs the 40A stack (120547+020613+020689+020688+020423 graphite cap) — 220890 won't seat on standard MAX200 barrel (different swirl seat + cap thread, HyPro uses 220936 copper cap, standard MAX200 40A handheld uses 020423 graphite cap, machine uses 120837).

  • Two hosts share this number: 220890 lists under both "HyPro2000 for MAX200 50A" and "MAXPRO200 50A" — same nozzle, different host torch body. Both use HyPro-style cap (220936), not MAX200 standard caps (020423/120837). Confirm buyer's torch badge reads "HyPro2000" (on MAX200 backplane) or "MAXPRO200" — plain "MAX200" = wrong line.

  • 220528 + 220529 + 220890 + 220532 + 220936 = full 50A HyPro stack: Elec/swirl/noz/shield/cap all HyPro-numbered (220xxx), not interchangeable with MAX200 standard 020x/120x stack. Mixing HyPro noz (220890) onto MAX200 standard barrel (020689 seat) = arc off-center + rapid burn.
