The HALANSM® 220937 is the designated 200A electrode for Hypertherm's HyPro2000 upgrade torch for HT2000, the HyPro2000 retrofit on MAX200, and the native MAXPRO200. As the component where the plasma arc is born, the electrode governs two factors that decide your cut quality and your cost-per-part at the 200A class: arc-start reliability and how tightly the arc is constrained before it reaches the nozzle. A worn or off-center electrode causes wandering arcs, excessive dross, and accelerated nozzle erosion.
