Critical Installation & Compatibility Guidelines
Correct Consumable Stack: For standard cutting operations, the correct assembly sequence (from the torch body outwards) is: Electrode (220669) -> Swirl Ring (220670) -> Cutting Nozzle (220671) -> Shield Cap (220674).
Shield Cap Distinction (Crucial): The 220674 is the STANDARD shield specifically for cutting. It is mechanically incompatible with the gouging nozzle (220672). Forcing 220674 onto a gouging setup (or using a gouging nozzle with it) will result in torch shutdown errors or immediate consumable failure. Always ensure you are using the correct shield for your application (220674 for cutting, 220675 for gouging).
System Lock: This consumable is part of the 2208xx series for the Powermax 45/45A system. It is NOT mechanically or electrically compatible with the HSD130 45A system (which uses 2205xx series parts). Please verify your torch model before purchasing.
