Select HLN-Z4140 by bore and current only. Neighbouring bores (e.g. Z4022 at 2.2 mm vs Z4025 at 2.5 mm) are not interchangeable — wrong bore disrupts vortex and accelerates wear.
Installation and Handling
· Power down the plasma source and release gas pressure.
· Remove the worn swirl cap, nozzle, electrode, and gas guide.
· Clean the torch seat and threads; inspect O-rings and seals.
· Install electrode, gas guide, and nozzle, then seat the new swirl cap.
· Hand-tighten only; avoid over-tightening copper or brass threads.
· Run a low-amperage test cut to verify arc stability and gas flow.
