The HALANSM L4-XL​ is the copper nozzle (tip) for Kjellberg's PB-S70 / PB-S75 handheld/manual plasma torch​ stack. It seats behind the PB-S shield/cap and in front of the KB-XL silver electrode. PB-S is Kjellberg's handheld​ tier (vs HiFocus = machine, FineFocus = precision) — so L4-XL lives in a different world from Y4020 (HiFocus130i/160i) even though both are "nozzle-class." Forcing L4-XL onto a HiFocus torch (or vice versa) = seat mismatch / arc wander.

Nozzle L4-XL / 11.828.901.427 for Kjellberg PB-S70 PB-S75 Plasma Torch

The PB-S family is Kjellberg's handheld/manual plasma tier (PB-S20 → PB-S75), and L4-XL is the 70/75A tip in that family. It's a different animal from the HiFocus machine-nozzle (Y4020) or FineFocus precision-nozzle (R2008) — three separate platforms, three separate nozzle geometries.


Key Points (buyer-facing)

  • PB-S70 / PB-S75 Only: L4-XL seats into the PB-S handheld torch head with KB-XL silver electrode behind it. Thread pitch and seat land are PB-S-specific.

  • L4-XL ≠ Y4020 ≠ R2008:

        L4-XL = PB-S70/75 (handheld)

        Y4020 = HiFocus 130i/160i (machine, 2.0mm bore)

        R2008 = FineFocus 450 (machine, 0.8mm low-amp)

All three are "nozzles" but torch bodies don't interchange. Mixing = seat leak / burnt cap.

  • OEM Geometry: Copper body, bore sized to PB-S70/75 output, concentricity locked to KB-XL electrode so the arc stays on the hafnium center.
