The retaining cap is the final critical layer in the plasma torch consumable assembly. It physically clamps the nozzle and swirl ring against the shield cap, maintaining precise axial alignment under extreme thermal stress. The HALANSM 420365 features a specialized black anodized coating that provides superior oxidation resistance compared to standard silver-plated copper caps, making it ideal for high-heat applications.
